Iain Dale’s Top political blogs

Filed under: Blogroll, Politics, UK — notsaussure @ 8:28 pm

Iain Dale is publishing his Guide to Political Blogging in the UK on Monday; in the meantime, his lists of the Top 100 Non Aligned Political Blogs is available as a pdf here, the top LibDem blogs here, the top Labour blogs here and the top Tory blogs here.

He’s publishing his overall top 100 on his website on Sunday morning.

He writes,

I want to emphasise that this Top 100 and the rankings are my opinion and obviously opinions are subjective. But the list should at least generate a debate. I marked each blog out of ten on the following 10 areas: design; frequency of posting; writing ability; personality; comment; humour; range; interaction; popularity; independence of thought. This generated a mark out of 100.

Some of the non-aligned seemed pretty conservative (or even Conservative) to me; I mean, Devil’s Kitchen and Peter Hitchens? But it must have been a huge piece of work, and I very much look forward to reading some of the people he recommends and whom I’ve not yet taken a look.

Congrations all, and many thanks Iain.
