Conservative transport problems

David Cameron in Svalbard, Norway

There seems to be a bit of a jinx on the Conservatives and modes of transport at the moment. First David Cameron excites hilarity when the effect of his cycling to work is rather undermined by the revelation that, when he so does, he’s followed by a Lexus carrying his briefcases. Then a minibus carrying his aides ploughs into a luckless woman in Bombay (how is, does anyone know?) during his visit to India, and now, hard on the heels of George Osborne’s enthusiasm for MagLev trains, one crashes in Germany, killing 23 people.

Looking on the bright side, though I don’t think any of the dogs bit anyone while he was in Norway.
