The Christmas Message

The Nativity

Luke 2:7
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

This blog refuses to submit to any politically correct nonsense about Seasons Greetings or Winterval; I am endebted to Dan Goodman at The Samovar for this opportunity to remind readers of the story of The Nativity; you will find the whole Biblical account, taken from Matthew 1:18–2:22 and Luke 1:27 — 2:40, with 45 illustrations (all in Lego) at The Brick Testament, as presented by The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith.

(I fear Rev Powell Smith uses a more modern translation than the King James version with which people might be more familiar and which I’ve used for the caption)

Happy Christmas, all.
